About Inge Schuster

My work unfolds in the quiet space between memory and imagination.

I create visual narratives where people, nature and architecture meet in stillness, longing and subtle transformation. Each image is an invitation to pause — to sense what is present beneath the surface, where silence, vulnerability and beauty coexist.

Artificial intelligence is part of my creative process, but it is not the subject of my work. I use it as a tool — much like a camera or a brush — to shape images that are deeply human in their themes and emotions. My practice is rooted in storytelling, atmosphere and a strong visual sensitivity developed over decades of creative work.

I was born and raised in Copenhagen, Denmark. After training as a laboratory technologist, I soon realised that my path lay within the creative fields. I began designing clothing and home décor and later founded a successful children’s clothing company, with designs sold across Scandinavia.

Twenty years ago, my husband and I left city life behind and moved to the countryside, where we restored an old farm and created our home surrounded by nature and a large garden — an environment that continues to influence my work and way of seeing.

Twelve years ago, I transitioned from fashion design to photography, focusing primarily on architectural photography. This marked my entry into Instagram and opened a new chapter in my artistic journey, where composition, light and spatial storytelling became central elements.

In December 2023, I began working with AI-assisted image creation. The response was immediate and overwhelming. In January 2024, a single reel reached nearly four million views, and my audience has grown to more than 600,000 followers on Instagram and over 175,000 on Facebook. This has led to numerous requests to acquire my work as fine art prints.

My work has since been exhibited internationally. In 2024, I was invited to exhibit at Abecita – Museum of Photography and Pop Artin Sweden, and in 2025 at the Flower Art Museumin Aalsmeer, The Netherlands. My images have also been presented as large-scale projections in public spaces in Madrid and Milan, and I have held successful AI art exhibitions in Germany, The Netherlands and Denmark.

I am currently represented by Galleri Nijenkamp, where gallery owner Line Nijenkamp-Knudsen represents my exclusive, unique, hand-signed and framed artworks.

I continue to explore the intersection of art, technology and storytelling, developing new series and participating in exhibitions internationally — always with the intention of creating images that resonate quietly, linger in the mind, and invite reflection.
