Artist statement

With a background in both design and photography, I now work with AI-generated imagery and animation as part of a unified visual practice.

For me, AI is not a goal in itself, but a tool - much like the camera has been in my photographic work.

The images emerge through choices - and especially through omissions - atmosphere, composition, and post-processing, where I continue working with the motifs until they contain the presence and atmosphere I am searching for.

My works often move within the borderland between the real and the imagined. I am drawn to the quiet moments where something familiar slowly begins to shift, and where nature, people, and spaces merge into small visual narratives.

The presence of nature recurs throughout many of my series as something timeless and connecting - even within the most constructed universes.

It is here that I find a connection between the sensory, the poetic, and the human.

In recent years, my works have been shown in photographic, digital, and museum contexts, including at Abecita Popkonst & Foto, Callao City Arts, Flower Art Museum, and in the exhibition Ctrl+Alt+Dream – Surrealism Then and Now at Castellani Art Museum.

The solo exhibition Det, der forbinder (That Which Connects) brings these threads together into a larger whole, where still images, movement, and storytelling meet within a shared visual space. The videos presented in the exhibition include works currently being shown at the Castellani Art Museum.
