Work in Progress presents works that exist within an ongoing exploration. Series where motif, atmosphere, and meaning are still unfolding, and where process itself is an essential part of the work.

Rather than finished answers, this section offers moments of reflection. Images shaped through repetition, subtle shifts, and silence—gradually finding their form over time.

Interior Blues

This series began as an exploration of interior spaces - rooms intended to hold art.
Along the way, the rooms began to speak back.

Furniture, walls, light and silence became part of the narrative.
The portraits are no longer just images on a wall, but presences within the space - echoes of thought, memory, or emotion. Interiors turn into mental rooms, shaped as much by what is absent as by what remains.

Interior Blues is an ongoing work, unfolding intuitively - a quiet investigation of stillness, solitude, and the subtle dialogue between image and room.

Facing the Room

This series explores moments of quiet confrontation.
Men stand alone in sparse interiors, facing mirrors that do not necessarily reflect them back.

The mirror becomes a space rather than a surface - sometimes empty, sometimes altered, sometimes holding traces of absence. Chairs, doorways and frames repeat like silent witnesses, suggesting what has been left behind or remains unresolved.

Facing the Room is an ongoing work about identity, solitude and the fragile distance between who we are, who we were, and what we avoid seeing.

The Room

The Room is a series of images that return to the same interior space.

A quiet room where time seems to pause, and small shifts in position, light, and presence slowly change the experience of the space.

Rather than telling a story, the works explore repetition, stillness, and attention.

The figure appears and withdraws, the room remembers, and meaning emerges through subtle differences.
