Nest of Silence

A head bears a nest. A crow guards the thoughts. A flower covers the mouth.

In this series, the human and the symbolic intertwine in quiet, dreamlike scenes. The nest is both a crown and a cage – nature’s ornament and a fragile construction of care, decay, and grounding. It represents the inner space we build around our thoughts and emotions. What we brood over. What we carry with us – wild, delicate, proud.

The crow brings darkness. It is wisdom and omen, a black shadow on the edge of transformation. When it lands upon the nest, the silence grows heavier, more charged. Like a thought refusing to fly away. And at the center of it all – a flower. Simple, innocent, almost childlike. The daisy stands for contrast and hope. A gentle gesture that shields or reveals. Some hold it before their face, others close to the chest – as if it tries to speak where words cannot take root.

Nest of Silence is a visual narrative told in pairs of images – wordless chapters. An exploration of silence, symbolism, and inner landscapes. Each pairing holds its own mood, and together they form a quiet choir, where nature and identity merge in an almost mythical atmosphere.
